I would like to comment, not only on this proposal but on the whole Battersea Riverside area, and would urge the council to consider the wider community, the impact on existing residents and the sterile nature of many existing riverside communities. Of course there will be development, but can it be proportionate and fair? Permissions for higher, light-grabbing developments are continually being granted and these are most profitable for developers ... But please, can the area be considered in a joined-up way? There is an opportunity to build a real community (not dormitory) and riverside destination here - please consider that vast, unlinked developments and tall towers are not the only way. Please consider green spaces, views of the sky and jobs too. Many thanks.

I use Homebase regularly and deplore the excessive high rise
flat building that is dominating the riverfront and the whole area - when will it stop?

Wandsworth Council has a poor reputation for consultation ensuring only those living very close are consulted. No one in the wider community is allowed to express a view. Once again planning permission has been given to a development which in addition to being unsightly will also cost a fortune and will attract investment buyers not dwellers and certainly not those on low incomes. Therefore the housing that is desperately needed will again not be supplied.

The proposed development appears to be out of scale with the surrounding area and would adversely affect the neighbouring streets with no benefit to the community.

The Council is ignoring existing residents and giving permission to over develop every single piece of land with ugly tower blocks which are marketed abroad and then left empty.
