Lap Bands are great, until they aren't Not good. These should not be put inside of humans.

I had mine put in about 2018. I developed decreased esophageal motility. Two weeks ago, I had severe abdominal pain which was caused from my small intestine wrapping around the lap band. It had grown onto the lap band so it had to be cut off and my intestine had to be sewn back together.

I suffered with the band for 5 years had an awful pregnancy we’re I couldn’t eat despite the band being emptied, I’ve since had the band removed and still have vomiting issues 11years on.
