Dear ICC

We, on behalf of the citizen of test and one day cricket playing nation, condemn the action taken against Taskin Ahmed on the grounds that

• Taskin was not reported to have bowled any illegal delivery during the match (against Netherland) for which he has been claimed to have suspected of his bowling action.
• First of all Taskin’s stock and yorker deliveries were absolutely fine. 3 of his 9 bouncers were found problematic, which he has been instructed to do in quick succession (3 minutes). In an over, a bowler is allowed for 1 bouncer delivery which takes a lot of plan and timing. It was obvious why he couldn’t bowl 9 out of 9 bouncers right.
• Secondly as per Regulation 2.2.6, if a bowler is found to have delivered a specific delivery which is questionable, he should at best be warned not to deliver the similar ball again not suspended.
• The case for Taskin’s questionable bowling was fragile since the Match Officials' Report from the Netherlands match did not specify any particular delivery/type of delivery; it simply stated that they were "concerned with the legality of the action". There were no justification as to why they were concerned.

Therefore we, the millions of cricket fan believe that Taskin is a victim of injustice, hence we oppose the ban and demand the ban of Taskin be lifted immediately.
