At Lifetime Peachtree Corners Georgia, Corporate ignored the petition requesting that the 8 indoor tennis courts remain tennis courts. They instead converted 4 of the 8 indoor courts into 12 pickleball courts. This club was a nationally recognized Premier Tennis Facility. In addition,
over 50% of the outdoor tennis courts are being converted into pickleball courts. Including stadium, center court and many of the outdoor hard courts. The club is in the Atlanta area with very hot summers, rainy & cold in other seasons. The indoor tennis courts were a desired amenity that brought members to the club since it was one of the few in the area with indoor tennis courts. You can imagine the noise!!!

I hope it's a flop in San Clemente. Lifetime is doing the same thing at Peachtree Corners in GA. Big uproar going on. WE ARE A TENNIS FACILITY!

Please don’t turn the beautiful tennis courts at Lifetime into pickleball courts. In my experience I haven’t seen the pickleball courts at full capacity, even on weekends. Pickleball can be relocated elsewhere. Tennis courts unfortunately cannot. I urge you to not utilize already limited tennis courts to the trend of pickleball; stay true to what San Clemente Lifetime was originally designed to be: a tennis club. Thank you!

Let's keep this a tennis club as it has been for so many years. Court 1 is used regularly for tennis. There needs to be a different solution, other than centre court, to adding more pickleball.

Court 1 will be unreasonably loud and disruptive as a pickleball court - particually for the ourdoor workout and cafe areas

Tennis courts are challenging to book as well. The bigger problem seems to be parking. Until there is a solution to the parking problem - adding more courts and therefore more people (replacing 1 tennis court with 3/4 pickleball courts). Also the noise from pickleball at center court would make the whole experience at the cafe and outside deck loud.

Please keep our tennis courts open. The noise will change the overall beauty and peaceful environment of our beautiful club.

Play both tennis and Pickleball but a lot of us workout outside, eat and socialize and the noise from Pickleball will stop us from being able to enjoy it.

Makes more sense to convert 1 or 2 courts down by existing PB courts. Don’t mess with Center Court. There would be too much noise up by the clubhouse.

Parking is already terrible, how is adding 12 more cars a productive maneuver?

Being able to relax and enjoy the peacefulness and beautiful views from the patio above and around center court is what we all love about lifetime. Turning center court into pickleball courts will ruin this tranquil space as the balls are incredibly loud with pickleball. Turning center court into a pickleball court will affect everyone negatively. Please listen to what ALL your members want. We want to continue to enjoy the relaxing area from the patio, the outdoor workout area, and the pool by keeping center court for tennis only. Consider making a hybrid court that is closer to the other pickleball courts so you can keep all your tennis league teams in the mornings and allow that court to be used for pickleball in the afternoons.

I want center court to be kept as a tennis court. Pickelball is too loud for center. It will take away from the ambiance for those working and relaxing above center. I am a founding member.

Please do not convert center court to Pickelball! I think this will be extremely detrimental to the overall beauty of the club and dishonor Steve Johnson. I strongly disagree with this decision.
