Volunteer work counts as experience and speaks volumes regarding commitment. Seniority is important but goodness to fit is equally vital working with children.

We feel strongly that school personnel who are already experienced with the children in our school and are respected by parents, teachers and many others at the school should not be removed and replaced, regardless of seniority. It is insensitive to the children and does not place appropriate priority on the efforts and successes of those to be replaced. Please be creative and sensitive in making these decisions and do not use an antiquated methods that effect many vulnerable children.

Courtney is one of the hardest working and most dedicated staff at Theodore Judah. She knows and cares about all the kids and their well-being and she deserves to remain in her position. The kids and parents deserve this too.
