Youth work does not mean the same as youth employability - both have value; however, unless there's a certificate, training or a measured outcome it's not held in such high regard or deemed worthwhile. There's too much pressure to achieve and social interaction, safe places and enjoying your community is valuable. Don't take that away from young people

Land time forgot here in the inch our kids have nothing here to do. Not even a playground in St. John vianneys school. As it’s been extended so many times.

I stay in this area and grew up and the amount of decline in youth groups and low support is terrible there could be so much more done but no the council can’t split money equal not fair there is 4 areas make Edinburgh not just 2 our kids and the vulnerable need support not just forgotten about.

Small organisations deserve better recognition for their impact on local people. Unequal distribution of resources has huge limitations on community development and involvement. The funding approach to fund big organisations needs to change and focus on small organisations as well.

It’s an impossible task and to be denied money to help tackle it makes no sense at all.

I have no children using this centre but am fully aware of others that do. This facility cannot and should not be taken away.

Has it come as a surprise to anyone that South East is left behind again? Seems to be the norm around here. All resources ploughed into the north meanwhile the children and families of south east Edinburgh left to fed for themselves.
