The ongoing issues of territorial and violent youth behaviour (eg. two boys under 17 years old stabbed within metres of our house on gilmerton road in the last year), needs grass roots intervention with dedicated youth support. South edinburgh deserves proportional funding.

It's not clear to me, considering the official statistics how this can be fair. Liberton/Gilmerton has a 31% rate of child poverty - 21,000 kids living in need. There are inequalities across our whole city, so providing 3 x the funding to other areas looks disproportionate, and I wonder what the motive/reason for this is? Political spite, or just incompetence?

My Family have used this center for years and is a life line for them. My wife and 2 daughters have learning difficulties and if it wasn't for Goodtrees they would be lost and isolated in this community

Disgraceful from CEC and they are seriously letting our area down! But it’s CEC... should we expect them to act fair? Nah never

Adam McVay the leader of the Edinburgh Council. Leith councillor is putting all Edinburgh’s funds into Edinburgh South. Tram extension, New Harbour prospect, New village at Granton proposed. THE REST OF EDINBURGH HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN!!!!!

There needs to be better equity of spending as the challenges on South Edinburgh are on the increase with young people turning to drug and crime

Very disappointed in the allocation of this funding especially for children 0-5 with additional support needs.
