Grew up in burdiehouse and wasn’t very much there when I was a bairn, so hopefully we can change that for this generation :)

I moved here 3 years ago, new area, no friends or family around for support, my kids school referred me onto a summer group at goodtrees, and it changed my life how many groups I attend even now thanks to goodtrees. And the friends I have made even my children, At first my middle child who’s asd he would stay attached to me anywhere we went but goodtrees has helped him with the groups that we attend I we walk in together and I don’t see him until we meet again for snack

These issues are happening all over Edinburgh and no area deserves more money than the other. The work done in this area by the community group's is brilliant and surely needs the Councils support.

There is a well-recognized and chronic lack of investment in this area, from our schools to community support services. As highlighted by the response to the recent fire at Liberton Primary, this is an amazing community with lots of groups doing heroic work for our young people. We deserve and demand equal support from the city.

This side of town needs all help it can be given; we are poor in resources here.
