As a a male lib-dem voter it is increasingly difficult to lend them support while they label potential members as bigots and refuse to entertain debate around id issues

As a gender critical pro-European woman I need to vote Lib Dem, but am unable to support them through their denial of biological reality and proposed policy of self-ID.

Women-only spaces are essential and must not be erased to allow men who self-identify as women to access such precious, safe spaces.

Sex matters and sex-based rights matter. We can't afford to keep pretending this isn't the case, and we must be able to discuss this.

I've been a Lib Dem voter all my life, but cannot support them any more until they accept this declaration and agree that this is a complex issue that needs open debate free of intimidation. Without debate, how can the party claim to be "Democrats"?

Thank you for raising this issue, but I will only consider voting for the LibDems if the leadership of the party accept that women and girls' rights and the safeguarding of children are currently being pared back because of the lies and bullying from aggressive lobbying groups who centre men's sexual rights, and if the leadership demonstrate their commitment to reverse these harms both by their manifesto promises and by taking action with regard to bullying within the party.

Without public debate on gender and women's rights this policy supporting self ID should not go ahead.

Biological Women’s sex based rights are being ignored and eroded. As a women this has become a growing concern for me and how your party responds to questions in this petition will determine if I will vote for your party.

Until this policy changes I cannot vote Lib Dem. Once more women's voices are not being even considered let alone heard.

Very disillusioned party member. If we do not recognise sex, we cannot identify and combat sexism as an axis of oppression for women.

This election is not just about Brexit. There is no way on earth i will ever vote Lib Dem again until they review the attitude that women's rights and feelings of dignity, safety and comfort are also important.
The Lib Dems are actively deterring women from voting for them, and some of their young councillors and members are shocking in their attitudes.

Until this is sorted out satisfactorily, I simply can't vote Lib Dem - this is a vitally important issue for me - it's my ditch worth dying in.

Why won't the Liberal Democrats agree that my bigotry is acceptable?
