I have been left politically homeless by Jo Swinson's damaging stance on women's rights and Self-ID. I cannot vote LD until women's voices are heard.

I would consider voting Lib Dem, but cannot if they refuse to acknowledge womens sex based rights. Being abused by LD parliamentary candidates is not liberal.

As a believer in human rights, people’s freedoms, minorities, a mother, wife, daughter I think the Libera Democrats need to review their position and involve men and women across the board in this debate.

I really want to vote Lib Dem, but this issue is every bit as important to me as Brexit, and will affect how I vote on 12/12.

Allowing men to 'self identify' themselves into women only places is a total recipe for disaster. Women and girls will be filmed without their consent, intimidated, harrassed, assaulted and raped in places where they should be able to feel comfortable and be safe. Predators will abuse this appalling system of self ID. The LibDems have made a MASSIVE error of judgement on this issue and won't be getting my vote unless they sort out this mess by election day.

I was expecting to vote LD in the upcoming election but I can't while the official policy is that "identity" (permanent or transitory) transcends lived biological experience. The lack of debate and name-calling from LD activists is profoundly illiberal.

Reconsider your position, you are trying to deny biological reality

I have always voted Lib Dem. This single issue is what's preventing me from being able to vote for them in this general election. I will vote for them if they pledge support for women's sex-based rights.

The LD stance on self-ID has made me question my support of their wider platform.

I would love to vote LibDem but their anti-women stance is stopping me.

I will decide whether to vote for the Lib Dems depending on the reaction to this pledge

It is the self-ID policy and lack of protection of sex based rights of the LIBDems that prevents me from voting for LIBDem in the election 12th Dec 2019

As a proud pro-European in a marginal seat, I would love to vote LibDem. I believe that all individuals should have the right to dress and express themselves as they wish. But I am a scientist and therefore a believer in material reality. I am also a mother of daughters. I support this pledge.

Equality does not mean removing the rights of one discriminated against group and handing them to another group. Trans women are not women so need their own rights for trans women.

If the Lib Dems want the support of women they need to stop dismissing our concerns.

Mammals cannot change sex but should be free to express themselves with clothes and possessions which are currently 'gender specific' doing so doesn't cause humans to change sex.
