Women are adult human females. Women are human. Women have rights too.

If the Lib Dems don't understand why women are concerned, and why we will fight the ourselves, our daughters, grand children and aged mothers - they will NOT HAVE OUR VOTES!

Well done LibDem women!

The removal of the ability to describe women with female biology as a class will have more harmful effects on society, particularly women and children, than Brexit. LibDem policy is ill thought out and misogynistic and I therefore cannot vote LibDem at present despite my opposition to Brexit.

Women have the right to safe spaces under the law. Liberal Democrats should take note instead of throwing women under the bus in favour of trans minority.

Trans people must be protected but not at the expense of women. Only women can be ade pregnant against their will, and that matters.

Biological sex (objective: observed at birth) and gender identity (subjective: none, two spirit, non-binary etc etc etc) should not be conflated. Wear what you like, humans cannot change sex, woman is not a costume.

Female human rights need protecting too, find better solutions, sex & self ID gender are different things, sex relates to proved biological differences

I would have voted for the LibDems because of your policy on Brexit but your position on the conflict of rights between women and self-ID has lost you this voter. I see I am not alone

I have been a consistent Lib Dem voter for nearly 30 years, joined the party after the referendum and campaigned for them locally in 2017. I left last year when I became aware of the implications of self id, and found myself unable to campaign in support of it. I do not want to vote for a party that shows such disregard for women's rights, and am deeply disappointed by recent pronouncements.

I would vote LibDem in a heartbeat on the Brexit stance but won't as I can not vote for a party prepared to sign away my rights whilst bullying women to keep them silent

It is essential to debate practical issues arising from conflating trans women who have transitioned with fully male-bodied people self-identifying as ‘women’ and conflating either with natal women. As well, it is essential that children be protected from a range of policy driven evidence free agendas and grooming and in extremis from medical experimentation.

Women's rights are under attack. A woman who asked for a female obstetrician got a male with a beard. He felt like a woman so her say over her own body and medical care no longer mattered. I am a liberal but I will never vote for anyone who puts females in danger.

Thank goodness you realised that lack of clarity about this issue was damaging the party, and have put that right.

Women are a SEX, not an 'identity'. We are OVER 50% of the population - a lot of votes. We deserve single sex safe spaces & rights.

I am firmly with the party on their approach to Brexit, but could not vote LibDem at the moment because of the silencing, shaming and endangering of women by their current policy putting gender-based rights above sex-based rights.

Equality doesn't mean removing one groups rights in favour of another group... equal but seperate rights for all.

Considering voting LibDem for the first time this election, but their current stance on self-id is a deal beaker for me at the moment.

I usually vote libdem, but having heard the comments on radio 4 I'm not happy with the policy on this at the moment
