This issue alone is sufficient not only to prevent me from voting LibDem, but also to actively dissuade others from doing so. I cannot endorse rampant unadulterated misogyny.

All stakeholders must be allowed to speak on subjects that affect them. The silencing of women in this debate is extremely illiberal.

Politically homeless woman here, this is long overdue.

I really want to vote LibDem, and I currently can't because they've stated publicly that women like me, with gender critical beliefs, are not welcome. I'm so appalled at the party's position on sex based rights, and some of the awful abuse and slander of women's rights campaigns made by trans activists in the party, I cannot in all conscience vote for an anti female rights party that supports a policy with very serious safeguarding risks. I really hope the party clarifies its position immediately. To vote LibDem because of Brexit, is to admit that women's rights are a side or minor issue, that other things are more important, but that's not true.
Women's rights are fundamental. I can't vote against my own overriding interests, so I won't vote LibDem until they drop self identification.

All parties need a Women's Rights policy, that is sex-based. Thank you for doing this.

I left the party, which I have supported for almost 50 years, because it was made clear that this was not a topic for debate. I would love to be able to rejoin, if this declaration were to be accepted.

If Lib Dems want my vote and that of all the other women who have tuned out due to their blatant disregard for our sex-based rights they need to address these issues without delay.

It is vital that discussion takes place openly and honestly. Self ID has been disastrous for women in Canada and institutions and businesses wrongly advised that it is the law here. We must not let this continue in the UK unchecked.

Why wouldn't you wish to discuss the impact of such a momentous change to the law before making it?

Although this issue is being pushed aside by Brexit, I believe our political parties need to think about how they will protect women in the upcoming elections and how parties policies interact with each other and impact on our most vunerable.
