And please don't call women non-men.
Thank you.

As a victim of rape & sexual violence I see the difference between sex & gender as a very important one. Also as one of the people who was sexually inappropriate towards me in the past was a male who's now "Transitioned" without any hormones or surgical intervention, I no longer have a safe space from that behaviour in the ladies loo's or changing rooms without being called "terf" if I protest. We need to be allowed our boundaries as women & girls!
We are female & we are biologically different from males & we're not being bigoted for seeing the reality of the difference between our sex's. Gender is incredibly sexist, it's a list of expectations based on your biological sex & none of us fulfill all those expectations (nor should we have to) & it doesn't mean we're in the "wrong body" for not fitting those offensive expectations.

I have been a Lib Dems supporter for many years but the proposed GRA reforms have not considered the huge negative impact that they will have upon women's sex based rights and protections as they are currently written.

This is a very welcome development from a Party that I'd given up hope on.

Wonderful to see this development. The Liberal Democrat’s must review their insane policies -especially on trans widows and the spousal protection.

So glad to see the call for respectful debate. I live in the Hall Green constituency and would love to vote for your candidate rather than Labour - I cannot however in good faith vote for any party that will not allow discussion of these very important issues.

Finally what appears to be a common sense approach to this divisive issue

I second what Karen Davies said. This is all that's stopping me from voting LD on 12 Dec.

I hope that the LibDems will start a reasonable dialogue about this matter and act to ensure sex based rights are considered when any policies are proposed.

If the candidate in my constituency signs this petition I will be able to vote Lib Dem as I had intended before being told on twitter that women who want to preserve sex based rights are not welcome.

We have to fight for women’s hard won sex based rights

I am a LibDem member who is struggling to remain so while the party is so willing to give up my barely earned rights as a woman. The refusal to acknowledge and allow discussion of the impact of GRA reform on women is a disgrace.

At last, some sense. Women have the right to discuss and question. I live in the UK’s most marginal constituency and might consider a LD vote if the candidate has signed this, and undertakes to follow through.

Female only spaces are sacrosanct. If you start allowing men in then they are lost
