I have personally never been in any of Padron's classes -- music is not a specialty of mine, however, I can see his passion for the music and for teaching students how to perform to the best of their abilities and I have heard only the best reviews about him...and to be honest, I don't really want to see/hear the LHS music department without him.
We all know the music department is one of the most ignored programs in public schools, let's try our best to save one of the best music teachers before they hire some random person who doesn't care and messes up the musicians who will be returning next year.

Mr. Padron is an outstanding music teacher to say the least. He is an amazing teacher who can instruct the talent he posses. I would be very disappointed if I could not finish my last three years of high school without Mr. Padron.

Mr. Padron is a wonderful teacher. There have been so many wonderful changes in the 3 years he has been involved in the music department. I cannot believe he was not offered tenure and his contract was not renewed. The district will have an extremely difficult time finding a teacher equal to Mr. Padron.

He is not my teacher, but I have seen the impact that he has had on my fellow students and friends. He deserves to stay, he shouldn't leave.

Thank you Mr. Padron for all you do for our students. Last year's concert, when all students in the band and orchestra performed at the same time was amazing. Just the sheer number of students you teach and interact with on a daily basis is superhuman. You are irreplaceable.

I have never been involved with the music program, nor have I ever been interested, HOWEVER, I have seen Mr. Padron's work and have heard many stories about his methods and teaching and to lose yet another teacher in the music department would be disheartening, considering it's already small presence in public school. There are AMAZING musicians in this school and Mr. Padron does his best to bring it out of everyone, I can see his passion when he constructs and it's not something I'd like to see leave this school, even when I'm long gone.

I am shocked to hear that Mr. Padron may be let go. I may be a graduating senior, but Lawrence will always be my hometown. Teachers like Mr. Padron are what makes our school what it is. If the Board wishes to maintain the academic and cultural ethos of Lawrence and act in the best interests of its citizens, then it should vote to ensure that Mr. Padron is kept as a full-time teacher and is able to continue inspiring minds and blessing Lawrence High School with the gift of music.

It's way too often that the value of a real teacher, an educator that actually inspires students and helps them to grow, is ignored. Mr. Padron is an unmatched and exceptional teacher, and the students of Lawrence High would suffer a real loss if Mr. Padron does not return. Mr. Padron has contributed so much to the music program and has dedicated so much of his own personal time and effort to his students. To lose Mr. Padron would be foolish; his spirit and heart are one-of-a-kind, and his ability to teach goes above and beyond.
