As the current president of the Tri-M Music Honor society, I have worked with Mr. Padron all year, and I know first hand how much enthusiasm he has for expanding the music program at our school. He goes beyond teaching a few kids how to play instruments, constantly pushing to bring music into the rest of the community. This year, his first year as Tri-M advisor, he got permission to send Tri-M members to perform at student of the month breakfasts, increasing the visibility of our program and showcasing students' talents. He is always thinking of new ways to get more involved, and it will be a sad day for music at LHS if his contract is not renewed.

Even though I'm graduating, I want Padron to stay because he's one of the best instrumental music director I know, and Lawrence Music programs won't be the same without him!

Thank you for taking time to read our petition. We would really appreciate your support at the Board Meeting on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:00 pm in the LHS library. We need as many people as possible to come and show their support.
Please wear LHS Gear to school and to the meeting, if possible.

Mr. Padron is an excellent teacher and musician. He has done wonderful things for the program in a time where music is really suffering in school districts. I am currently a freshman music education major at TCNJ, the college which Mr. Padron attended, and have gone through 4 music teacher turnovers through my grade school career. It would be a shame to see one more go. Padron is one of the most qualified music teachers I know. He is the kind of music teacher I aspire to be. He stands up for what he believes in, takes action, and makes music the flourishing department it needs to be. Reconsider this decision because it would be a detriment to all to lose such a valuable teacher in our district.

It's way too often that the value of a real teacher, an educator that actually inspires students and helps them to grow, is ignored. Mr. Padron is an unmatched and exceptional teacher, and the students of Lawrence High would suffer a real loss if Mr. Padron does not return. Mr. Padron has contributed so much to the music program and has dedicated so much of his own personal time and effort to his students. To lose Mr. Padron would be foolish; his spirit and heart are one-of-a-kind, and his ability to teach goes above and beyond.

Mr. Padron was an amazing teacher and mentor, and it would be a great loss for the Lawrence Township School District if he was forced to go.
Great teacher, really guides students who struggle towards the right direction
