Mr. Padron has benefited my life and the music program in so many ways. He has been our rock to help us through anything. Don't take away a solid foundation for Lawrence's music program. Students need music and without Mr. Padron, I don't see the music program being able to succeed. We need more faculty like him, not less.

Although I didn't interact with Mr. Padron directly while I was in the music program, he was extremely helpful and always showed tons of enthusiasm. We need teachers to show the same initiative and display the same effort as Mr. Padron did for the music program.

Hearing the news that Mr. Padron's contract is not set to be renewed makes me truly ashamed of LHS and the district's inability to recognize the virtues that this man has to offer as a music teacher and an educator. The administrators/unions/board members/executives that are responsible for this should be ashamed of themselves for not allowing future generations of LHS students to study under this man. This is nothing short of blatant neglect for the education of our community's students.

When LIS was without one of their music teachers due to a staff illness, Mr. Padron came to the rescue and gave my daughter the best musical experience she had ever had in the Lawrence schools. I truly can not believe that the Lawrence School System thinks he would not be an asset to the music community. They love to boast their credentials as a "Best Community for Music Education" . It has only received that title because of the fabulous music teachers they have at present. They are a young and inspired group of music teachers who enjoy and encourage all to love music as much as they do. They are committed, creative and inspire all their students daily. A vote to keep Mr. Padron is to vote to keep Lawrence a "BEST Music Commmunity!"

As a recent graduate, I was a student during Mr. Padron's first couple of years at LHS. He has been the best thing for the school! He is so encouraging and makes the music department a million times better. The quality of performance that is showed at concerts is incredible for high schoolers. He has taught me so much music wise and is always a listening ear for students. You can tell he cares so deeply about each student. His passion for music is contagious. He is the best thing for not only the high school but the community!

It's unfortunate to see a teacher leave especially one who puts his best effort every single day into his student's music education. Mr. Padron has been there for each and every one of his students for any help they reach for. His incredible works with Tri-M and student of the month breakfasts make him an incredible teacher. Mr. Padron encourages students to attain optimistic goals. He has extended the LHS music program to a much greater depth, including many of the trips he planned. He is hard working and very dedicated to make his students happy and musically talented. We couldn't be much happier for a music director like him. He deserves better to stay beside the students who enjoy working with him on a regular basis!

Mr. Padron is by far, the best music teacher I have ever had. It is him who motivates me to do better and makes sure I am always improving as a violinist. Please do not force him to leave LHS' music program as he has put forth so much effort into making us the success we are today.

Mr. Padron has showed me that music can actually be fun. During my time in LMS I did not want to be apart in band in the future so I started to lose interest. But I wanted to try it out one more time in High School to see if its different. At first I though this is going to be boring and didn't want to be part of it, but Padron made music exciting. He believed in us. He wanted us to do the best we can do. He shows that the music department matters too, not just sports and other activities. It would be really big loss for our School District to see him go.
