It's 2018, it's insane that people are still acting like being gay makes someone less qualified to do literally anything.

This is crazy. I hope that this gets more attention and the right thing gets done. She deserves better

This is disgraceful behavior, suspending a great teacher because of clear prejudice and deceitful assertions. Let's stop the legislation of hate, ignorance and bigotry an try altruism and kindness for a change.

She deserves her job back, more importantly, she deserves a better state to live in

I want to help what ever way I can, to suspend someone for living their life is absolutely insane.

Just because she has a wife and answered a question as such is no way to respond. What is this teaching our kids?

Please adjust your policy to more modern and reasonable levels of acceptance. It's 2018. The fact that we're still hearing about discriminating policies is outrageous. I'm not surprised this is happening in Texas, though. Texas is notorious for its archaic, outdated views. I'd love to start hearing that they and other states with outdated discrimination practices have caught up with the rest of the world.

You should never be unequal for who you love.

Best of luck. I don’t know where I would be now without all of the great art teachers I had growing up.

I support Stacy and her pursuit to add LGBT protections in Texas public schools.

It's ridiculous to think that one comment could poison the minds of young children. It is not a crime to love someone. I am a Texan and I am disappointed to know that some of my fellow Texans are reacting with such spite in their hearts.

Let teachers be teachers, they are just as human as the rest of us.
