I'm dumbfounded as to why the 2016 teacher of the year needs to be investigated for asking about school policies.
Whomever is in charge of deciding that this teacher should be suspended and investigated for asking about school policies should be suspended and investigated.

As a former student from MISD, I would expect better. The fact that there’s even a petition for this is just sad, and I feel for the LGBTQ community.

I am an alumna of Charlotte Anderson Elementary, and stayed in MISD through high school. I support this petition and am outraged at the treatment of Stacy Bailey. I and many others demand an answer regarding her suspension.

This shouldn’t be an issue and proper education shouldn’t be dictated by personal beliefs. Plenty of districts have something protecting their students from violence or discrimination, so should we.
