She´s a good teacher, and her students love her. This is EXACTLY the kind of person who´re supposed to teach our children. I am so G D angry at this injustice that I have no words to describe it.
I mean, really? It´s 2018, homosexual folks can get married, but they can´t teach? What kind of screwed up logic is that? Just let her teach children art, what the crappity crap is the problem?

A good teacher is a good teacher regardless of their sexual orientation. Society around the world is moving forward in terms of equality for LGBT people. The children's future will involve more and more of the LGBT community and it's time that students become more aware and that they feel safer in their learning environment at such a critical, developing age. They are our future, and we want them to grow up loving and being loved by all people to become the loving adults that the world needs more of.

I attended Mansfield schools as a child/teen. I wish I would have been protected...I was constantly bullied for my sexuality. I hope Stacy gets her job back. Art was my favorite subject in school and was my escape class during lunch.

Firing someone just for having a partner of the same sex is not cool guys. Come on its 2018 lets move on and start to act like actual people. Simply put let gay people get married, let gun people have guns, let atheists be atheists, and let the christians be christians, America is about freedom. Freedom to live how you please and be happy with who you are, so smoke a bowl, shoot your guns, curse a lot, praise jesus, and wish those two fellas next door happy honeymoon.

This is disgraceful and utterly ridiculous. It's 2018 not 1940. It's time to not let religion and personal beliefs interfere with government or state regulated matters. The woman clearly has demonstrated herself as an overly capable and wanted member of the education system and has been punished for no substantial reason.

I'm upset that my state considers the sexual orientation of anyone an offense worthy of termination. This reminds me of reading history books about how people from different countries were discriminated against in early America.
