Heteronormative teachers are aloud to talk about their personal lives. If parents disagree with basic biology they are more than welcome to pay for their child to go to school in a private bubble. Don't make me ashamed of MISD.

Teachers like her are the ones who made me fall in love with education and learning. Her rights are being infringed upon and I am beyond grateful to be able to help her stand up

it’s so wrong to fkn suspend her because of WHO SHE IS. that’s literally the same thing as suspending someone because of them being straight, yeah sounds stupid doesn’t it, now you know how fkn stupid suspending people who are in the lgbtq+ community is

This is unacceptable that just because someone says their sexual orientation to students they are taken out. My teacher has a wife and we fully support, love her. We are in a new generation and we can’t keep on going with the old ways from 50 years ago. Times have changed so our minds and ways of thinking also have to. Besides whats the problem with her saying her orientation, the students perfectly know that doesn’t affect them and from what i have read, her students fully support, admire her. As Hendrix said, “She is a role model for me... its not the same everyday i go to school and don’t see her.” Even a 9 year old knows there is nothing wrong. I grew up with my mother and her wife and im perfectly well educated student and in the top 5% in my school. Just because i grew up with a lesbian couple doesn’t mean im gonna question my sexuality. This needs to stop and change because thats why our world is getting worse and worse.

I'm sure there's a student in her class that lives in fear of what the world would do or say to her/him if she/he were to decide to be open about her/his sexual orientation. Why are people offended by someone's love, yet we have a jackass who thinks it's okay to, "Grab her by the _____!" as the representative of the United States?

These kids could care less what this teachers sexual preference is. She did what she was paid to do ...teach! Shame on those parents who complained. I for one am thankful for good teachers, I could care less what their sexual preference is.
