Every American citizen deserves to be acknowledged and feel accepted in the community. This is a mixing pot and discrimination should not exist on any level under any reason. Personal nor professional. This teacher is vital to her students. As are all members of our community.

They make it seem like she just got into a bunch of nitty gritty sexual details or something. Simply telling kids who, let's dace it, probably asked, because children are curious creatures, is not grounds to fire her. Especially if no other parents complained. This is discrimination.

A great injustice is being done to my child, that of being denied an amazing educator. A great injustice is being done to the Tax Payer, who will foot the bill for this folly by this MISD administration. Local elections matter, especially school board elections.

Experiencing the exact thing this teacher was fired for is something that would help kids at this age avoid the patterns of bigotry that are so hard to unlearn when they are older.
