If grown adults working as teachers with elementary school children can talk about their hetero spouses and NOT get suspended or fired, than a gay adult teacher can DO THE SAME! It's discrimination what you pulled and it's sick and wrong! I hope they sue you to the ground and win for not only this school district but many across america. It's time to move away from the 1800's!

I live in Ireland, but I’m signing this anyway, because I like to think I can recognise injustice when I see it. I say I’d like to think, because I don’t always do. But hey, minorities have to help each other. I may be living comfortably now, but there are those who would consider being gay “inappropriate”, and in my case, consider being autistic “mentally broken”.

As a mother of a 23 year old gay woman getting her masters in music education, it's a travesty that she may not be treated like everyone else in her field. This teacher should be judged on TEACHING not her orientation. Sounds like she's a remarkable teacher, we need more like her! Give her job back to her!

Does it hurt others if one decides to love another person of the same gender? Would it impact someone's productivity at work? Of course not. Therefore, there should be no reason to discriminate against teachers and staff based on their sexual orientation.

A person's sexual preference should be as protected as their sex. It's illegal to discriminate based on whether a person is male or female, why then can you discriminate based on who they love?
