The school administration confirmed that our request for a third term tuition fee reduction has been approved. We are currently finalizing the documentation for the credit adjustments and will monitor the issuance of these refunds to every account.

Goal: reduction to 3rd term tuition fees since it is being done from home.
In light of the existing situation, we, parents of LFI schools dubai, appreciate the Institutions’ continuous support and back the decision of the school’s closure for the safety of its students. However, we feel that it is unjustified that LFI schools are demanding a full fee payment for the Third Term’s 'Distance Learning Program'.
It is important to address that the online learning platform is not a complete alternate, but rather a supplement to the Term Education. Parents have to put in more than 5-7 hours a day, assisting children to complete the daily assigned lessons, provide resources, stationary, technology, not to mention the added mental strain and pressure of working from home simultaneously.
Moreover, Keeping the current situation in mind, the government has clearly created policies in place which gives the employers a choice to reduce the salaries appropriately. While we appreciate the school’s decision to pay its staff in full, but we also firmly believe that this is purely an employer’s decision and responsibility and that the financial implications of this decision must not be passed on to the parents.
In addition to this, the children are not attending school for the entire semester, neither using the premises, utilities, facilities nor all extra circular activities which are now closed for the entire semester thus reducing the school’s costs.
Over the course of last few weeks, we have seen businesses and companies suffer, families across the city taking the brunt of this situation- most employees are being laid off, forced to take unpaid leave or are facing up to 30% pay cuts. Most Businesses are struggling and commercial activity has now come to a complete halt. These are severely difficult times for all of us.
Considering these prevailing conditions, many schools in Dubai are supporting the parents and have announced reductions in fees.
As prominent education providers in the UAE, we expect LFI to lead the way by example and therefore, we collectively appeal to AFLEC for a minimum 30% Fees Reduction for the Third Term 'E-Learning Program'. For those parents that have already paid, we request their payments to be adjusted against the next upcoming semester
These are difficult times for all of us, and we hope LFI will play its part.
Your Co-operation shall be highly appreciated,
Parents of LFI, Dubai

Keeping the fees as it is it does not make sense by any means: - Less working hours for teachers - paying 8,500 AED for transportation which is not happening !!! - teachers work from home and their cost of living is way less than being full time in the school.
100% fees is for 100% commitment which is not the case, we as parents are committed with our jobs, 20% salary deduction is implemented for us, we are 6-7 hours with our kids for e-learning, 20% minimum deduction is expected from LFI.
I am signing this petition for both my kids, even school fees were fully paid this year I am not asking for a refund but for the discounted amount to be deducted from next year fees as my husband’s salary has been reduced by 25% and this is affecting us as a family. Thank you
The fees we pay include the facilities as well not only teacher’s salaries, since schools are closed and with minimum utility expenses, school should factor that into the reduction of tuitions. We are working with 50% salaries school should consider our Situation and the curent global situation
We are not French speakers so our daughter will not benefit much from this term. Besides we are spending time and money working with her from home. A lot of schools deducted 20 to 30 %. It is only fair to be like everybody else in the UAE.
Its only fair that parents like us are struggling with job losses and should have reduction in fees.
Nous demandons à lecole une déconsidération de la décisions sur les frais scolaires dune manière collective et non individuelle

It’s absurd to ask the parents to pay the full fees in those conditions! Especially for PS when we are the ones teaching them. Not to mention the ridiculous zoom sessions for a 3 year old who cannot sit still. We wont pay the transportation for the 3rd trimester!!
