I do not think that this bus lane is a good idea

Bus lane will not prevent jams, which are largely caused by busses picking up or dropping, the very large number of school children.
The hold ups do not very long , and do not happen much in school holidays.

Bus lane will not solve the morning or afternoon jams in term time; traffic flow pretty freely in school holidays

A bus lane would not ease the congestion on this road during rush hour and would put all road users at risk, as well as ruining an attractive part of town. What a waste of money it would be.

With so many schools/school children using this road the reduction of the pavement area is ridiculous and will significantly increase the risk of accident and injury

I think this is totally unnecessary and potentially hazardous to pedestrian - there are only very short times of the day when the road is busy and I think this option would simply make things worse

This is the most beautiful road in Colchester. It is only very busy with traffic at the beginning and end of the school day. At other times it is a fairly quiet road. The residents do not want this and have coped with the situation as it is for many years.
I also believe that it is dangerous to have cyclists and pedestrians sharing the pavement.
Please do not ruin this special area of Colchester!

This proposal is dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists. Pavements should not be reduced in size.Traffic calming islands are very important for the safety of pedestrians and should not be removed.

Definitely not required. Please consider using our money for projects that will make a positive change. They are few and far between at the moment.

Compromising the the safety of pedestrians, many of whom are children can only end in tragedy.

This is unwanted, not needed and the funding could be used elsewhere.

Total waste of funds that could be spent better around Colchester in other ways to save traffic for 30 minutes in AM & PM & would make area un safe.

Bikes on pavements is not a clever idea especially when the children are going to or coming from school.
