Lewes District Council: Stop Supporting Hunting on boxing Day

Foxes have lives to live and families to look after. Please leave them alone to have a happy existence, free from the terror of the hunt and an agonising death, all because some unlawful humans enjoy a blood sport. It may have been traditional a few centuries ago, for many warped minds, but we have now moved on, surly. Let us be more civilised about this subject and enjoy Boxing Day, as a day off work (for most) and a time to relax with friends and family. Then we can go into 2016 with fresh hope and a good start to the new Year, for ourselves and the dear, beautiful foxes. Thank you Lewis District Council for listening to our plea for the voiceless ones.

hunting is illegal closing a road and allowing them to 'parade' makes it seem glamorous it's not it's barbaric and 80% of the population are anti hunting. Therefore listen to the majority they do pay your wages!

Don't understand how an illegal activity is supported by the Council. Particularly when the vast majority of people are anti-hunt. Time to represent the majority, not support the cruel and barbaric few.

It is against the law to hunt with hounds are believe? Unless we want to sanction anarchy the law needs to be followed by EVERYONE.

I disagree wholeheartedly with the closure of this road for such a barbaric pastime!
