How can you consider closing our high street for a hunt? What about the large number of folk in Lewes who don't want to see our high street closed for hunting - you represent us too, you know!

Just signed with the comment if if you can close the roads for these hunts ...then lots of other groups should be fairly treated also & should apply for road closures and if refused taken to the council to the European Court on discrimination grounds.

why are this council closing a road for an activity that has been outlawed? We all know this is not going to be a drag hunt otherwise there would be no need to close the road. These despicable violent thugs must be stopped. Shame on Lewes Council. Makes me wonder what kind of people they are too!

A public street should not be closed to facilitate a practice that is abhorrent to the majority of British people. I am a British citizen currently overseas and I ask you to reconsider.
