Fox hunting belongs in the dark ages and is animal abuse plain and simple. No animal deserves to be treated like that and letting them parade through the town centre is basically supporting what they do.

What a despicable and barbaric practice that has no place in the 21st Century but needs banishing to the Dark Ages. Christmas is supposed to be about joy and peace, whereas this is about inflicting savage cruelty on an animal for the sadistic enjoyment of a minority of this country's population.

By allowing closure of Lewes High Street for this Boxing Day meet you are effectively supporting hunting! I would have thought that councils should be impartial at the very least!
