In this day and age this barbaric "sport" should not be taking place.
There is no justification for men on horseback to chase, terrify and mutilate an innocent animal for their entertainment.

I think it is so wrong to allow the closure of Lewes High Street on Boxing Day to allow the meet of the Southdown and Eridge fox hunters whom then go onto hunt foxes which is illegal. I hope you reconsider it as I am one of the 80per cent against these terrible blood sports and it is so wrong of you to allow this to happen.

Hunting with dogs is illegal and this practice is barbaric so why on earth would the council or anyone else be supporting illegal activities? It's disgraceful, we can't just pick and choose which laws we adhere to so why do you think you can?
