If they want to go for a good gallop after a drag hunt without inconveniencing anyone else or causing damage of any sort ok. BUT let them meet in a field

By allowing this you are encouraging violence and that does not give the younger generation a good impression. These Hunts continually blatantly flout the Law and when Sab attend, one has recently been stabbed in the hand necessitating an operation to repair nerve damage and he might not regain full usage of his hand and another Sab needs extensive ongoing expensive dental work. These attacks were by Terriermen from Southdown & Eridge Hunt. Is this the sort of image Lewes DC wants to give? I think NOT this sadistic barbarism has no place in the 21st Century and must not be promoted in any way.

Oakham Town Council (Said NO to their local 'hunt') made the decision at a planning and parks committee meeting on Wednesday (25 November).

fox hunting is cruel,it is outdated and illegal,it must be stopped,watching dogs rip a fox to pieces in the name of sport is disgusting,please do not allow this to happen.
