Please leave the lever guns alone. No point changing the regulations for licensed legal firearms owners.
The fact is the cat c firearms should be reclassified to cat b... They should never have been put in the cat C class in the first place.

There ain't nothing wrong with current gun licensing laws and classifications at the present look at a more in depth evaluation psychologically if anything before issuing a license

I strongly oppose the ban on the Adler A110 lever action shotgun and any other firearms. The lever action shotgun is nothing new. It's been in Australia for over 130 years. When are politicians going to start looking at the facts. In 2012, 78 homicides were committed with NO weapon to 44 with a firearm, which incidentally was the lowest number of homicides committed of the four catagories, no weapon, knives, firearms and other (source: Australian Institute of Crime). I have had my shooters license since about 1977 along with my first rifle, an Anshutz 1450 22lr. I now own a 444Marlin L/A and I will be voting ASFP the same as last elections everyone with guns or fishing rods please vote abbot out. I do not want to lose my basic right to own a slow loading lever action.

Over 50 years a Firearm owner, never committed a Crime, and I am treated worse than a Criminal OK as a Soldier with Assault Rifles, but now not trusted with a Lever Action. You will be quick to trust us to Protect you if it comes to War comes, trust us now & penalize the Criminals who use Weapons.

Illegal activities will continue with illicit firearms regardless of what restrictions are placed on law abiding citizens Mr Abbot. Perhaps this root issue needs to be addressed as does organised crime/drugs and not over governance of those trusted few amongst us who have been through countless reviews and police checks etc. Community and stakeholer/expert engagement makes for good policy that is based on evidence as opposed to knee jerk over reactions eg: 1996 gun law amendments & now.
