o have a lawful licence and I want my right to buy a leaver action firearm should I dem that I need one for farm life. they are not and have not been used in a massacre cases, either that or make the C or D class easier to obtain if you are going to move those firearms to that class, but lets face it if u do that no one is going to buy a ruger 96/22 leaver over a ruger 10/22. if they are in the same class

It would be quite sad to have my lever action. 22 magnum confiscated as I am a law abiding gun owner I use it for target shooting and small game. And the otherpart what I paid for it will never be returned if it's taken I loose money on my own possessions that I have no choice but to get rid of what happened Australia...

There have been no atrocities committed with lever action firearms so there is no need to reclassify them. Stop treating licensed gun owners like criminals.

It's ridiculous that we even have to sign a petition to keep them. Criminals kill will guns regardless if they are legal or not. Governments banning people with licences from legally purchasing guns shows just how backwards and out of date our government is.

Lever actions have been around forever. Leave them alone. Get off your high horse abbott and actually get your police to do their job. Catch real criminals. Stop vote grabbing.

To think, the government of the day has linked me, a police vetted and licenced firearms owner with terrorism, too far, way too far. Look at what current mil issue style firearms are turning up in middle east crime gangs, why would they want a 100 plus year old technology, when they get state of the art firearms.
