It is not the registered shooters that are the problem, more needs to be down with the illegal firearms available anywhere in Australia.

As champion target Rifle and Pistol shooter I was forced to abandon my favourite sport due to the idiotic restrictions placed on the sport of target shooting. When I handed in my last firearm the Police officers remark was " Now only the crooks will have guns " How true!

its not the action of the rifle that kills , its the killers action with the rifle . Look into how unlicensed criminals get guns so easy . Don't penalize the sporting shooter and farmer AGAIN !

Keep it fair; the rule makers require fair and equitable information to make decisions. Decisions must be made based on genuine information and not the bean-counters or spin doctors.

Stop listening to the anti firearm coalitions lies on law abiding firearm owners and stop comparing them to criminals, they are worlds apart. lever actions have been around for over 100 years and are a hunting rifle not the terrorists choice of weapon.
