There is no correlation between law abiding firearm owners and crime. If thinking about the risk of gun theft, police should look a little closer to home. Perhaps individual firearms shouldn't be registered as it creates a shopping list for criminals after corrupt police sell information to crooks. Terrorists and crooks will still get their hands on weapons

We demand that reasonable conversation be opened to lift restrictions on firearms, and accessories. We call for the restrictive categories to be abolished, and to be allowed to own semi automatic rifles and pump action shotguns. To allow self defence to be a reason to own a firearm, and tougher laws designed to target criminals, not the law abiding firearms owners. We asked the Federal Government make it top priority to educate the general public on firearms.

This ban is a spit in the face of licensed firearm owners. My .22 lever action is not a weapon of terrorism.

Keep lever action rifles/shotguns under category A & B. Licensed law abiding firearm owners are not responsible for terrorist acts and our licensed firearms are not being used in criminal activities. How about dealing with criminals, and not vetted licenced firearm owners?

Good people should not be punished for the lies spread by the media or the corrupt politicians pandering to the left wing for votes.

Don't ban lever action riffles think of the land owners & the people in rural areas that rely on lever action riffles to protect the only thing they have left - stock let them be able to protect they stock from wild pests etc.. Don't punish the people that do the right thing with safe keeping & don't harm anyone

Just another case of people doing the right thing being penalised by the government !! I believe it is a privilege to be a gun owner and the authorities need to do more about the criminals and stop trying to make themselves look good with their knee jerk reactions !!

I've written to the PM and my local MP regarding the misuse/abuse of the NFA to attack LAFOs. A lever action firearm will never be anything other than a lever action firearm. It's not a pump action, it's not rapid fire. Stop the misdirected, hysterical and unfounded attacks!
Keep lever action rifles legal
We are law abiding firearms owners not criminals.
