A player representing his country must be exempt. Out dated Policy is no reason to prevent this player from this experience. The school is harming their own program as exceptional players will think twice about playing high school sports.

Next time play Aaa hockey where at least everyone has same goal

Seems like a no brainer place to address this type of situation. Wisconsin should not be the only state to penalize student athletes for qualifying to play for their country.

Let the kid play! - I doubt the spirit of the bylaw was to prevent this kid to play for the Youth Olympics.
