The WIAA should be proud that an athlete has been produced in the Wisconsin system and able to accel and display those talents. What an honor for Ty, the Memorial Old Abes, the Big Rivers Conference and the WIAA.

If it is possible to give him a waiver, I see no reason to deny him either opportunity.

WIAA you should be ashamed to to take this position. Your bylaws allow you to address this. Do the right thing.., quit hiding behind paper and step up to the plate and fix it.

It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for Ty, amend the rule to let him play.

Ty is only in this position because he plays a winter sport. If it were a volleyball or football player, a golfer or a tennis player, there would be no issue. Why should a winter sports athlete not have the same opportunity as other kids? Let Ty Play.

What an opportunity for BOTH Mr. Emberson AND Hockey in the State of Wisconsin to be recognized at THE Highest Level. Do the Right Thing and let him play.

The rule in question was established to prevent teams from picking up players after a certain point in the season aiding in their possible play off run at the end of the year. In this case Ty will have played with his high school team thru out the season, participated I n the YOG, and returned to the same team. The high school team will not be adding additional players that were not on the roster all season.

A young KID has a chance of a lifetime to represent his country for 2 weeks and come back to play for his high school team and you want to stop that from happening. Very sad that you would make a young KID lose out on both opportunities. Wow, amazed that this would even be an issue.

It would be great PR for the WIAA to have a player who stayed in high school represent his school, town, state and country. Let Ty play WIAA
