Letting Ty play is the right thing to do. Bylaws need to be updated.

This seems like a no brainer. How can someone take away the chance to play for our country and their high school team? What an honor for a child and his family. It's nice to see hard work from an individual pay off. Let Ty play!!

Any athlete like Ty should be rewarded for their dedication and ability not discouraged. Letting Ty play both is a right he earned. Please do not take his right away! Go Ty!!

This is an easy decision... LET TY PLAY

This should be a no brainer for the WIAA!

What a dream come true!!! Let him play!!!! He has inspired so many youth hockey plays!!

For the sake of the sport and to allow for a better high school program statewide, let Ty and future players follow their dreams and still stay true to their roots.

I have never known a nicer young man than Ty Emberson. He would make an excellent representative for our country but should definitely be able to help out his home team when he finishes the Youth Olympic Games.

Forcing a kid to choose between his country and his high school team/brother is absolutely shameful. That rule was meant for suspensions not to penalize excellence.

There has to be a provision to honor special circumstances, and I would have to believe that being selected to an Olympic roster would qualify here.

A kid shouldn't have to decide between playing for the town he lives and the country he loves.

I pray that the WIAA will find a way in their rules to allow this to happen. Ty wants more than anything to do both...Play for the USA and with his brother and MHS hockey team!

Ty is a credit to his family, school, city, and state. A nicer young you will not find. What a terrible position to put him in.
