It would be an honor for Wis. to have a player in Junior Olympics. But he should also be allowed to play for his Memorial High School team. It is an honor for him and his high school.

Representing ones country should not limit a boys high school eligibility upon return from World Juniors. We should be promoting our sport and giving kids the opportunity to be great not making them choose. Was shocked when i heard about this being a former player, coach, ref, and involved in youth hockey for years. Please do the needful and get this outdated rule changed now!

This is a no brainier, any player from any state should be able to play for team USA without affecting their eligibility for their respective high school team.

As a member of the United States Air Force Academy class of 2019, I am serving my country in one capacity. Ty, as a team member for the USA team, is serving in another. However, he is still I high schooler. There shouldn't be this sort of restriction which forces a young man to choose between his friends and his country.

This young man should not be penalized because he is a good athlete. He should not be faced with having to make the decision to play for his school, or play for his country. I am a big believer in following the rules. That is the definition of compliance. But I also believe in integrity...doing the right thing. This is all semantics. Let the kid play!! It's the right thing to do.
