My husband Jeff played hockey for Eau Claire Memorial and has been coaching high school hockey for 17 years. I hope not only will the wonderful Eau Claire community rally around this cause but the "Hockey Family" in our State as well.

I man I work with had 2 grand daughters play on this last year...they played in the summer though. ..not sure maybe Minnesota has 5he same rule? Good luck:) Merry Christmas

Really W.I.A.A.? Why deny this kid a chnce to represent his country in this unique oppurtunity and then take away his sophmore years eligibility to play hockey in the w.i.a.,a? Explain the logic in this decision.

This is an honor and should be exactly what WI hockey should want for our young men and instead they want to punish him. There is a problem with these guys and we need new leaders who want to see our young hockey players keep excelling rather than holding them back.

I understand that the WIAA has to follow the rules that are in place. The schools make and vote on these rules, not the WIAA. I also realize it is not within their rights as a staff to supersede the rules, that is why there is an appeal process. I am extremely confident the WIAA will make the right choice through this process, and allow Ty the opportunity to play in the Junior Olympics and return to his high school team afterward.

To Whom It May Concern:
There is no individual(s) being harmed by allowing Ty Emberson to play in the Junior Olympics competition and then returning to state competition with his high school team, Eau Claire Memorial.
There is NO precedence for this situation and you exist to provide youth with opportunities for fair, safe competitive sporting events. It's time to be true to your mission and allow Ty or any other individual to play under these circumstances.
