The erosion of secondary structures within communities by businesses running acadamies has proven to be unacceptable, and so should this. Its time we took a stand against profit driven education that only delivers empty promises and fails to act in the interests of its consumers

The White Paper is a travesty. I am glad to join others in protesting against it.

The comments on "quality" in the White Paper show an ignorance of what real quality means. My module has a relatively high failure rate because I insist students show real skills valued by industry to pass. The White Paper tells me I should stop doing this and dumb down what I teach, making it useless for industry, in order to get a higher pass rate which these fools think means "quality".
