Further erosion to our education system, I fear for mine and everybody's children and the loss of their potential learning, growth and development. Why oh why is the government so hell bent on a nation where mediocrity is the favoured position.

Treating research & teaching as a commodity will dilute the quality of both. Both students and faculty will suffer.

Research and learning does not exist for the sole purpose of fueling the free market economy. This principle must be protected at all costs.
