Town Halls are a important part of our democracy. It's time to talk to the people in your district. The group calls just don't cut it!

Congressman Katko: How much smoke does one need to see before believing there's probably a fire? Better yet, skipping the metaphor, as a former prosecutor, and a brave one at that, how much EVIDENCE does a prosecutor need to see before realizing an investigation needs to be initiated? You sit on the HOMELAND SECURITY committee. Isn't Russian infiltration into the election, and more importantly, the White House, a direct threat to The Homeland? Congressman, please - stand up to this con-man with the same bravery as you stood up to the drug cartels, in your former life. Be on the RIGHT SIDE of history. This is not a partisan issue, it's a struggle for our beloved democracy! At the very least, enforce the emoluments clause!

Contents of petition reflect often neglected attention to the accumulated lies we are enduring.

I have called and written letters to your office numerous times. The latest was a call to ask your position on HR305, The Presidential Tax Transparency Act. Your aide did not know your position but promised I would get an email to let me know. Two weeks later, I have had no response. This is just another in the long line of your seeming indifference to your constituents on this and other vital matters. I vote and I will remember.

Please read and re-read. we can't help but see your silence as approval of the dishonesty and regressed bullying of the administration. Is that how you want to be seen? Is that what you are about?

With such polarity, history is being made. How do you want to be remembered? The only one who can be held accountable for that image is you. Do the right thing, not the party affiliate thing. Stand up against the destruction of land, water, and human liberty. Don't stand with profiteering bullies who only have their own interests in mind.

It is my hope that you will stand for us against the heinous "medical plan" being offered.

In your own words... "If we want to talk about accountability, there's no better way to do that than to get out in a public forum and ask questions between people" You need to attend the public forums & do your job as our elected Congressman!

I agree with the sentiments in this letter. It is troubling that there is on the part of many in the Republican Party an acceptance of the current President's rhetoric and actions. I'm sure it serves the GOP as regards the bills they want to pass in Congress. As long as Trump can be their distraction, they will not call him on his obfuscation of truth and his refusal to release his tax returns and divest himself of his many corporate interests. He is in direct and blatant ignoring of the "Emolluments Clause" in the Constitution. Where is Justice? It must be applied to the President as it must be applied to any American who breaks the laws of this country.

Time to show a backbone and disown 45.When eminent psychiatrists break the Goldberg rule to assess 45 as certifiable..it is time for you to say,"the emperor has no clothes".

Please do not sign off on the proposed Budget as it will cut and eliminate so many needed services to any community - CDBG in particular and all it supports - and for the country. Don't fund The Wall!
