We need to stop the administration's careless military actions while speaking up against the president's words.

Rep. Katko - As a constituent of NY Congressional District 24, I implore you to hold an open town hall meeting. You are our elected official which means, for better and worse, we are in this together. We do NOT need another forum. We do NOT need you to control the conversation. We do NOT need to hear you campaign. We need you to listen to OUR concerns and answer OUR questions. If you are a bipartisan congressman, then begin trusting in the voices and good nature of ALL of your constinuents.

As a minister I am very concerned about the lack of moral, even Christian values being exhibited in our federal government. Jesus clearly walked with the poor, the hungry, the sick, the stranger in the land and condemned those who made money at the expense of the least among us. We desperately need honesty and integrity, officials who are fighting for us. History has shown us that when the wealthy get wealthier the middle class and poor become poorer.

Grow a back bone! Stand up to the narcissistic commander-in-chief. He cares nothing About America. It's all about him and his bottom line.

Please answer to your constituents and stand up against the destructive Trump administration. We need a strong representative for District 24. We continue to wait for your response, and question the trust placed in you when you claimed you would stand against party lines and do what is right in Our House. It time to show us. We look forward to seeing you at the next town hall, and hearing Our voice in Washington.

How can I show my grandkids what representational democracy looks like, when I have a representative who is afraid to meet openly with his constituents in a the town hall tradition?

I have begged Katko to be our hero. I have tried, since the election, to get an appointment with him no fewer than 11 times to no avail and despite empty promised by his staff. He can attend fundraisers, go to dinner with his family, play hockey and have photo ops but refuses to meet with his constituents who might have hard questions. Our country is suffering and he is not the medicine we need.

Rep. Katko's constituents deserve a detailed, honest answer to the questions raised in this letter. Replying with frankness and seriousness is the only way Rep. Katko can show he is an honorable person.
