Black Rock is a thriving community and could not tollerate a huge 5 story huge rental building ?Why would ya builder think it appropriate ? must be $$speaking loudly Please stop this

Agree wholeheartedly with this petition. It needs to be down-sized.

Fully agree that the idea of a smaller, scaled back version could be acceptable, but this seems unreasonable due to size and scope relative to the surrounding neighborhood

I have no problem with an additional apartment building BUT the proposed one is much too big, and too tall. If you could scale it down to HALF the size, it would be OK with me.

Please stop this obstructing plan and persuade the developer to scale down his unrealistic ideas.

As a member of the committee that rewrote the Zoning Code that took effect in January 2022, I disapprove of the proposed development. Please deny it. It was sneaked in under the wire in December 2021 deliberately to flout the new zoning laws.

Living off Fairfield Ave., this monstrosity would cause havok to an already hectic area.

This project is far too big for all the reasons mentioned (traffic, inadequate parking). And a five story building is much too big for the neighborhood.

Keep it below the tree line please!

Property owner—Grovers Avenue—Black Rock

I lived at 626 Courtland Ave, and can tell you that the extra traffic would be so disruptive to a quiet neighborhood. Street parking is already hard enough.

A full impact assessment should be conducted prior to moving forward to ensure the final approved project will have a positive not negative effect on the community.

There are too many units for the space, too few parking spaces, and it is aesthetically NOT in character with Black Rock.

Does not improve the neighborhood or the quality of life for those of us who call it home. We live here for a reason.
