A whole lot more noise is needed to stop the corporatisation and corruption of scientific investigation. Who can we trust if we can no longer look to Cochrane for unbiased opinion, now that the crooked ones have infiltrated them

A doctor who scrutinises research should be supported He is an example for young doctors to follow. Do no harm by doing honest research and reaching honest conclusions. Please do not dismiss this man. He is hero of Copenhagen.

Objective data are required about the toxicity and harm done by psychotropic drugs. Many patients are prescribed powerful drugs for anxiety while other means of control have not been tried first. Some of them can not stop the drug because of unbearable withdrawal symptoms and others are permanently brain damaged from their use. Those patients do not understand what nos happening to them and most of the time are dismissed by doctors. Objective data need to be given to doctors in order to help those patients.

"Amicus Plato sed magis amica veritas". Dr Peter Goetzsche is an example for all of us clinicians, academics and scientists. I do hope that this distinguished colleague will be treated with the due respect and rewarded for his commitment to "ethics and evidence - based" medicine.
