Dr Gotzsche's work is fundamental to the future of research, the future of health, the future of the ability of the public to trust what they are being told with regard to medicine. Allowing his removal at the hands of vested interests would be unconsionable and harm us all.

Transparency has enabled the public to see the fowel play behind these happenings. Danish Government really should pay attention to sinister forces trying to silence a scientist that has had enough of dirty play behind the scene. The Pandora’s Box has been opened now.

Dr. Gotzche is just about the most upright researcher I've ever heard of. This is appalling. Whatever he does now, it will certainly continue to have positive impact on a highly corrupt medical system.

Peter Gøtzsche is a star shining brightly in his field. He brings an empirical quest for truth and validity rarely seen anymore. He is scrupulous, a rare trait anymore in the scientific community. His reputation is preserved in the minds of those who have come to know and respect him. Shame on anyone else who does not.

Denmark is one of the countries New Zealanders look to as a leader in health research and practice. We see it as one that is unafraid to challenge the status quo and the vested interests of Big Pharma. His expulsion from the Nordic Cochrane Centre is evidence of the unhealthy power and influence of those companies and their collaborators within public health organisations. If he is dismissed from his position at the Rigshospitalet, Denmark's reputation as a fearless champion of unbiased health research will be seriously damaged.
