Letter to Danish Minister of Health against dismissal of Peter Gotzsche

If in Copernicus' times there were scientific associations he surely would have thrown out for his (researched) ideas.

I support Peter for his honesty, integrity...

His work, research, opinions, and conclusions have been very helpful in my practice of psychology in rural Georgia. As a result, lives have been saved, not to mention needless suffering reduced, and the giving of reasonable hope.

Please retain Dr. Peter Gotszche. The world looks to him for rigorous, unbiased research, and transparency of clinical data. Thank you.

It's a travesty. I'd rather be led by someone with integrity like Peter Gotzsche, than clandestine dictators like those at Cochrane. Cochrane board have orchestrated this and its neither ethical or fair. Cochrane are and always have been a dictatorship and ruin people's lives through conflicted authors and autocratic management. Peter Gotzsche is a valuable, honest scientist. He has integrity, expertise and knowledge & deserves respect. Reinstate his job, do not ignore this many people - suspending people who speak the truth is opposite of what evidence based medicine is about.

Dr. Gotzsche should be celebrated as a champion of truth in medicine.

Losing Dr. Gotzsche would be an unthinkable loss for everybody! What a disaster for public health, why would you even...

Dr Peter Gøtzsche is a scientist of impeccable integrity. He speaks truth to power. It is an stain on the reputation of the Cochrane Collaboration that he has been suspended. His ethics have never been questioned. This is not true of some of his critics.

The world needs and deserves physicians with integrity and honest, unbiased research.

Peter Gøtzsche is an exemplar of ethics in science. His presence in science has been a bellwether that free and open inquiry exists in science. So given that his standing has recently come under fire, a red flag of danger has been raised!

Dr. Peter Gøtzsche has shown rare independence of thought in the current scientific climate where debate and discussion have become subject to influence by those who fund research. That is unhealthy for both patients; and for future scientists. Research and comment on it should remain independent, transparent, and free of bias, rather than being subject to bias by those with an agenda or willingness to collude with those who would prefer to suppress unwelcome or profit affecting truths.

Peter Gøtzsche is a hero of science!

It was a travesty to fire Peter Gotzsche and clearly done for political/monetary reasons. He is the reason the Cochrane Center was doing such great work. He's a valuable asset you can't afford to lose.
