Please consider this seriously. Medicine, research and science is always changing. Let's not regress.

It's essencial that Peter Gøtzsche have his job so that he can keep helping public health needs worldwide through advances in quaternary prevention.

Firing this respected researcher would send a strong message that freedom to report research findings is no longer a protected right, and that facts that do not support/condone certain ideologies present a threat to one’s very livelihood and reputation. Stop censorship of research findings, and protect the right of scientists, academics, and regular citizens to freely exchange and discuss facts. Do not create an atmosphere of fear and collusion where healthy open debate and exploration of facts and research currently exists.

The dispute Cochrane has sustained against Dr. Peter Gøtzsche has its roots on the company concerns over been criticized. Criticism is vital to research progress and it should not be attacked this way. Dr. Peter Gøtzsche has made great contributions to healthcare research, and I appreciate his work as a researcher and a patient.

What Dr Gotzsche has shown makes people uncomfortable ... don't fire him for bringing the truth to light.

Professor Peter Gøtzsche should be allowed to do his job

Removing him would be great travesty to scientific integrity and debate at Cochrane, among other things. What you are proposing is shameful!

Please do not silence Peter Gotzsche. As someone who has been subjected to psychiatric incarceration and neuroleptic torture, I need voices like his to be heard in the world.
