Have to human right any Deaf people work request by Deaf instructors, teachers, Asl teacher else..

It should be deaf who can instructor the class because it’s our first language. If it’s non deaf that meaning steal our language to teach the classes. It’s not respectful. Thank you

As a Deaf instructor of ASL and Deaf culture, it is very important to have credibility when it comes with teaching right tools about our beautiful culture! You have my 100% support!

ASL should be taught by Deaf people. It is their culture and their language.

Please hire qualified Deaf ASL users to teach these ASL courses. And consider establishing an accessible certificate program to qualify Deaf people to teach ASL.

When I paid for lessons to learn Hebrew I had Jewish teacher whose language and culture are Jewish. I would expect the same knowledge and expertise in a class to learn ASL.

I have a master's degree in theater from the university, I believe that a deaf professional instructor teaches more professionals because he knows the culture of the deaf, it is value

Simply put in this, it is a cultural and linguistic appropriation! It is our [Deaf] language!! This must be stopped!

Hiring deaf instructor(s) to teach these ASL classes is more appropriate and is to everyone’s benefit. We need more well trained interpreters. Thanks.

I thought the days of hearing people teaching ASL were gone. I am sure that the university wants to respect the language and the people who use the language. Let's make sure this doesn't happen.

Please ensure only trained and qualified Deaf teachers teach sign language courses to Deaf, hard of hearing, deafened, and hearing people and students enrolled in those courses.
