Letter to Archbishop Lucas re: Fr. Steve Emanuel

Fr. Steve is one of the most holy priest I know. How many priest do you see adoring our Lord before listening to confessions, doing mass. He is a wonderful priest and needs to be back. Stop canceling our holy priest.

He is a true man of God. Anyone who knows him knows he didn't do anything wrong.

Father Steve is a terrific priest and human being.

Father was a great teacher, he helped me learn a lot from the ways he taught. He also helped me a ton spiritually also.

Fr. Steve is a good man who saved a little girls life. Risk a lot to save a lot. Please return him to St. Francis.

My daughter whom is of great character has been influenced by Father in so many positive ways. We must look at the facts of the situation & not allow others wrong doing affect such a positive influence on our children & faith lives. My daughter will never get these times of influence back.

Father Steve has always been a trustworthy teacher, coach and admirable man. He leads by example in all he does.

I believe a full investigation was completed and circumstances were blown out of proportion in this incident. Father Steve should be allowed to return to his duties.

To whom this may concern. I sincerely appreciate the idea that the voice of someone who may be concerned about a vulnerable child is treated with such great concern. I pray that the sins of the church that have been exposed does not shadow the finds of any/all investigations of this man and others that may follow. It's amazing how Fr. Steve has had such an influence in his short time as Pastor at our cluster parishes. My Family prays for him daily that he be reinstated to lead our Parish Clusters (Humphrey St. Francis, Lindsay Holy Family, St. Michaels Tarnov, St. Mary's Leigh) and our Catholic Schools(Humphrey St. Francis, Lindsay Holy Family) closer to Christ.

I was a parishioner and colleague of Father Steve's, and it is difficult to convey the positive impact he has had on our school, parish, and my family. He truly lives for Christ and effectively brings people closer to Jesus. I'm thankful God had Fr. Steve be a part of my life, and sad he is not currently able to lead others. I pray that the diocese will have the courage to do what is best for the Church and reinstate Father Steve.
