We need Fr. Steve back in our school! He relates and inspires youth like very few can, and keeping him out of our school has really hurt the image of our leadership!

As a teacher and parish priest, Fr. Steve has had an extremely positive and significant impact on my family’s life and spiritual development. I was privileged to work along side him and have always been so grateful for that opportunity and for the example he set for my children. He has been a constant topic of conversation in our family because all of us learned so much from him through his teaching and by his example.
Father Steve is a true treasure to any community that is lucky enough to have him! He is a gift and deserves to be treated with the dignity that he deserves. I can never say enough good about this wonderful priest and teacher!

It's amazing how much of an impact Fr. Steve made in such a short amount of time. All of my kids go to Humphrey St. Francis and this situation has been a struggle trying to explain to them. Our family prays for him and that he can be reinstated to serve our school and parish very soon!

We support Fr. Steve. Our children and our school families need to see this priest they love and respect be treated with mercy and grace, just like Jesus asks all of us to do to those around us, friends, neighbors and even those who have mistreated us in some way. Our Priests need to know the Archdiocese has their back if they are proven innocent. Thank you for taking all these things into consideration.

Fr. Steve was at St Bernadette’s to help out during a time that our parish was having issues. Fr Steve was wonderful, my husband who is not Catholic was impressed with Fr Steve. It’s a shame that Fr Steve has not been reinstated and I believe God would want him to be because of all the good that he does!!!

Father Steve has always been a great mentor of mine and someone I have looked up to not only as a person but as an exceptional image of what is is like to live out the Catholic faith. As a young person seeing all these great priests (Fr. Andy, Fr. Steve) being ripped away from us, it is not only very discouraging to keep a positive outlook on what the Church is turning into, but it also shows how much the negative influences of the world are creeping into our church. Father Steve is the epitome of a great person and priest and these "On-a-whim" decisions are absolutely despicable. For having such a shortage in priests why would one take away someone who exemplifies the beauty of the priesthood which would encourage other young men to enter the vocation of being a priest?! Makes absolutely no sense to me, and I'm only 20 years old! I believe whole-heartedly that there is some major reconsideration that needs to take place, and even some possible self-reassessing of those making these life-altering decisions to genuinely great men. Prayers to you Father Steve, you are the reason so many of us take pride in being a Catholic!

We pray that Father Steve Emanuel continues to serve the people of the Archdiocese of Omaha. He is a true and faithful servant of God. Fr Steve has been with our family through so much -- during his first assignment to West Point he was there for our daughter and son. For our daughter, he made her now husband comfortable as her husband was not Catholic, being the priest for a high school age son remains a blessing; then returning to St Mary's and being there when my Mom and Sister died of cancer; with our family when Robert's father passed. Consider the good that Fr Steve encouraged all to do and what HE lived. Prayers are with all priests and those studying to be priests that they are blessed with support of a good parish, faithful people to do what is right.

As some who was not raised Catholic, this sadly breaks my heart. I converted to Catholicism about 10 years ago. When I first decided to make the leap of faith was because it was the right thing to do. My sisters and brother had done it so why wouldn’t I. It wasn’t until Fr. Steve came to our Parish did I truly understand why I made this choice. He brought me closer to my faith and God. He is a TRUE servant of the Lord and a great human being. Prayers that justice comes to this unfortunate event and that he can continue his calling and impact more lives

As a former student of Father Steve’s, he was a great priest, life teacher and mentor. I can’t see him doing anything wrong. George Lucas, it is sad that we have to sign a petition to reinstate Father Steve. Prayers and thoughts going out to you Father Steve.

NEVER a doubt in my mind about his innocence! I truly believe God has him on earth to be HIS disciple to spread His word, and to connect to his followers. Father Steve has that gift of being able to connect with God's people through day to day activities. May God bless you Father Steve, you are a GREAT Priest!

Praying for Fr Steve…May the BVM cover you. Few sons of Hers have offered the True Presence with the sacredness that you do. Your spiritual advice kept me on the path and your non-stop service to our parish was undeniable not too mention all your small acts of kindness for those in need. God bless you!

How can one take away from the Catholic Church a very dedicated and spiritual person, namely, Father Steve? Truly a leader to the Catholic Church, setting examples and spiritual teaching for all ages. We need more priests like him.
Please reconsider this horrible situation and return Fr Steve to his rightly position serving the Lord!
